Google has announced that Gmail is now available in Burmese language, making the email service more friendly and easy to use for people of Myanmar. With this new language support added, the email service counts 74 languages and it might continue to grow.
According to the official blog, Gmail users will be able to select the Myanmar language from the settings button and choose from two virtual keyboards when typing in Burmese, making email service a lot easier while navigating from a mobile device. While Google has announced translation support in this language a few months ago, it’s still in an early stage and it will need constant improvements.
For this particular reason, Google encourages Myanmar speakers to join the Translation community and get more online translations or validate the existing ones.
