The online giant service has recently launched a new application called Crowdsource that allows users to bring their contribution and help to improve the quality of Google’s services such as translation, image transcription, handwriting recognition or maps.
According to TechCrunch, this will be a pilot project and is now available to download for free on Google Play Store. After downloading the app, users will be asked to answer some simple questions about what language they are fluent in and that’s the area they would like to help with.
The app’s each micro task takes around 5 or 10 seconds to complete and every time someone is using this service is “making the Internet a better place for the community”
The Crowdsource app is currently available for Android OS and can be downloaded here.
