Happy International Translation Day!

Here, at L10N Hub, we are struggling to provide useful and valuable information to all our readers about the localization industry. As you all know, translation plays an essential role in any localization project, whether there’s a translation machine involved or a professional translation service.

In this context, we thought it to be worth mentioning in an article about the International translation day, celebrated every year, on 30th of September, on the feast of St. Jerome, also known as the patron saint of translators. This day was set up in 1953 and promoted by the International Federation of Translators (FIT) which had the idea to show solidarity to the global translation community with this date since 1991.

We wish all translators, freelancers, linguists and everyone else working in this profession, happy international translation day and good luck with their projects!
