Korona Invest is a Finish private equity company that recently announced the acquisition of AAC Global, a language service provider, based in Finland. Considered to be a leading provider of translation and localization services for the Nordic markets, AAC Global company was previously owned by publisher Sanoma.
According to Slator.com, Mika Pertilla, Managing Director at AAC Global didn’t revealed any details of the deal between both companies, such as translation value, investors involved in this partnership, or a percentage held by each part. He mentioned, however, that AAC Global has generated 15m euros in revenue in 2015, and has eight offices in Finland, Denmark and Sweden.
Pertilla was also asked if the company will choose an organic or buy-and-growth strategy now that it has financial support, and he stated that “both strategies are possible”.
