You may know already by now that Skype includes a real-time translation feature so users can easily communicate with people who don’t speak their native language. This real-time translation capability is now available for Microsoft PowerPoint too which will translate your voice in real-time using an iOS, Android or Windows app as you go over your presentation.
The new add-in also shows a link for viewers that can use to visualize translations in their own language. The company announced this new feature at its recent Build conference where they’ve had a demo on how it can translate Spanish and Chinese sentences in real-time.
While it is something new, it can help Microsoft to demonstrate the translation capabilities of its Cognitive Services tools.
