Microsoft Translator app announced for Android and iOS platform, including smartwatches

If you are planning a vacation or a business trip this summer in an unknown destination where you may encounter some language difficulties, an app translation could save your life. Microsoft recently announced a new Translator app that will be available for both Android and iOS platforms and will offer instant translation into 50 different languages. The app will also be available for smartwatches, Android Wear and Apple Watch, so users can translate text or speech input in a particular language.

Given that these smartwatches have been well received by consumers, the app will probably reach a significant part of the wearable market, being easy to use by simply speaking into the watch to get a specific translation.

The app has a simple and clean interface, so users can easily show others the screen and understand easily what exactly they are looking for. The app data is synchronized on both smartphones and smartwatches, without the need to make any updates.

Microsoft’s new Translator app can be downloaded for free from iTunes Store or Google Play.
