Microsoft announced on Tuesday a new release date for the Xbox One gaming console in China on September 29. Although it was supposed to hit the market on September 23, the product was delayed for several setbacks of Microsoft in China, as Reuters reported.
The company’s officials stated for Reuters, in response to this delay, that they’re trying to meet all regulatory procedures in China, as some suspected anti-trust violations regarding Microsoft Office and the operating system have been found.
When it will be launched, Xbox One will cost 3.699 yuan ($602.76) without Kinect, or 4.2999 yuan ($700.53) including Kinect, said the company. Microsoft brings the first Xbox One to China after a long period of long-running ban for console sales.
