Welocalize unveiled GlobalSight 8.6 version

Welocalize, a US-based company providing translation and localization services for clients all over the world, released GlobalSight 8.6, the newest version of the popular open-source translation management system. This version includes improvements in terms of user interface, new reports, tools and connectors, aimed at offering more functionality and a better experience for Global Sight community.

According to Genara Rodriguez, applications deployment manager at Welocalize, GlobalSight 8.6 version comes with features and changes that we’ll be valuable to the GlobalSight community. There are some additional features that are worth mentioning like the In Context Review tool for InDesign files, a new connector for users who are using MindTouch, as well as a new option for users to download translation kits by word count.

Welocalize also mentioned about new changes in the file importing system, in order to generate a better resource management and more control for users and administrators.
